pkgman-info — print package information

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

Print available information for a package.

The options are as follows:

-v, -vv

Print also the README file if exists.

ENVIRONMENT

If the following environment variable exists it will be utilized by pkgman(1):

PAGER

If the package source directory has a README file, and the -v or -vv option is set then pkgman-info will try to open it using a PAGER. If PAGER is unset, then pkgman-info prints the README to stdout.

EXIT STATUS

0 if success, 255 otherwise.
